2015 Board Meeting Dates

All GVC board meetings commence at 7 p.m. in the 1577 Meeting Room. All residents and owners are invited to attend.

• Tuesday, May 12
• Tuesday, July 14
• Tuesday, September 15
• Tuesday, November 11

Note: The annual meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 15. More information on the 2015 annual meeting will be available closer to the event date.

Balcony Repairs

Beginning Thursday, October 9, 2014, Dolan Contracting will be on the property to start exterior restoration work. The scope of work includes balcony power washing, rust removal, painting and canvas cleaning. 

The crew will work on one building at a time, in the following sequence: 

• Building 3 (1581-1593)
• Building 2 (1573-1577)
• Building 1 (1563-1569) 

The work will take approximately two months to complete.

To facilitate repairs, please remove all personal effects from the balcony. The Association, contractor and management agent will not be liable for damage to items that are not removed as requested. And please remember to keep all windows, window treatments and balcony doors closed while the work is conducted. 

Balconies will be accessed by ladder, so you don't need to be home for work to be performed.

2014 Annual Meeting

Reminder: the 2014 annual meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.; sign-in will start at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Association’s meeting room, located in 1577 Colonial Terrace. Unit owners and residents are invited to attend the membership meeting. 

A 25% quorum is required in order to conduct business.  If you don’t plan to attend and have not already done so, please submit your proxy form to ProCAM, LLC.,

Arlington County Sanitary Sewer Relining

For the next several weeks, Arlington County’s contractor, AM-Liner East, will be relining some line segments of the sanitary sewer system. 

During this time, Arlington residents may experience inconveniences such as temporary water service shut off, parking restrictions, and loud noise. Residents that will have their water turned off during this time will receive notices. If the work is cancelled due to equipment malfunctions and/or inclement weather, residents will be notified at a later date when the work is rescheduled.

Water Service Interruption: Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Plumbing repairs will be performed in building 3 (1587) on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

There will be no water service that day in buildings 1581, 1587 and 1593 between the hours of 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.; please plan accordingly.

Water Service Interruption: Friday, June 6, 2014

Plumbing repairs will be performed in building 3 (1593) on Friday, June 6, 2014.

There will be no water service in buildings 1581, 1587 and 1593, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. of that day; please plan accordingly.
